Scarlett Johansson sues Disney

‘Black Widow’ actress Scarlett Johansson is suing Disney for lost earnings after the media giant put the film onto Disney+ and not in cinemas. Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says the ‘Black Widow’ movie, made by Disney-owned Marvel Studios, was released onto the streaming site due to COVID concerns. Ms Johansson claimed this was a breach of contract as she is entitled to a cut of the box office and the move to stream it lost the ability to earn the extra revenue.
