Vic authorities on alert after mystery COVID case

While Victoria has exited its fifth lockdown health authorities are on alert after a mystery case was announced on Wednesday. The young man was working as a traffic controller at the Moonee Valley Racecourse pop up drive-through testing site where he worked for at least two days while infectious. He began experiencing symptoms on Monday, had a test on Tuesday, tested positive on Wednesday and his case will be included in today's numbers. Authorities have said it is possible he contacted the virus at the testing centre itself and are reviewing positive cases to see if any can be traced back to the site while he was working there.
