Former IOC President Jacques Rogge dies aged 79
Former International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge has died aged 79. He spent 12 years in the job which saw him inaugurate the Youth Olympic Games. Rogge also represented Belgium at three Olympics – competing in sailing in 1968, 1972, and 1976. The IOC has confirmed it'll fly the Olympic flag at half-mast for five days as a mark of respect for Rogge with a public memorial to be held later in the year.
