At home COVID-19 tests by Christmas

Australians could be able to take a COVID-19 test at home by Christmas. The Health Minister believes there are very good early signs the medical regulator will give the all-clear before the end of the year. Greg Hunt says rapid antigen tests will complement PCR tests and other public health measures. He's pushing for the Therapeutic Goods Administration to approve the tests before the Christmas holidays – subject to its effectiveness against the Delta variant.
