Maternity ward hit by COVID outbreak

There are fresh concerns for a New South Wales hospital after a COVID-19 outbreak as the cluster grows to include six parents of newborn babies. Patients at Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital complex have tested positive, with the outbreak affecting the maternity ward and neonatal intensive care unit. Exposure sites in the hospital have been deep cleaned and no staff from the infected wards have tested positive.
