NSW ‘galloping’ towards 70 per cent double doses

Premier Gladys Berejiklian says New South Wales is galloping towards the 70 per cent double dose target as the state passes the 85 per cent mark for first vaccinations against COVID-19. “Very pleasingly New South Wales has passed the 85 per cent figure on first doses,” Ms Berejiklian said on Sunday. “That is an outstanding result and as we literally gallop towards that 70 per cent double dose it's very pleasing to see that number go up and I’d love to see us hit that 90 per cent figure in the near future. “In terms of second doses, we just off 60 per cent, so we’re at 59.25 per cent today, and I’m hoping in the next 48 hours we’ll definitely hit that 60 per cent double dose figure which again is a wonderful achievement for New South Wales.”
