Passengers on Qld Virgin flight told to isolate
An urgent warning has been issued for a Queensland-bound flight after the plane was exposed to COVID-19. Passengers who travelled on the Virgin flight VA333, from Melbourne to Brisbane on September 27 are close contacts and must get tested and isolate for 14 days. The flight is among two dozen exposure venues identified in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The COVID cases are linked to a truck driver who was infectious in Brisbane's CBD for eight days – including an aviation training worker who is a resident in the city's north.
