NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says there will always be "different challenges that come our way during the pandemic". Premier Perrottet discussed the new Omicron COVID variant and how it could potentially impact the state. "What is most important is that as a government, we assess this situation - we understand the health impacts," Mr Perrottet said during a media conference on Monday. "And we make the decisions accordingly that are in the best interests of the people of New South Wales."
