The Queen to celebrate Christmas in Windsor

The Queen will celebrate Christmas in Windsor this year instead of sticking to tradition and travelling to Sandringham. It's understood the decision is personal and has been carefully considered due to the resurgence of COVID in the United Kingdom. Family members will visit Windsor over the festive period and precautions will be taken. It follows the Queen's decision to cancel a traditional pre-Christmas lunch with other Royal Family members.
