Data on Victorian COVID deaths released

More than half of all Victorians who have died with COVID-19 since July were not fully vaccinated according to new data. The data released by the Victorian Health Department shows 61.4 per cent of the people who died during the eight-month period were not fully vaccinated against the virus. Of the 61.4 percent, 53 per cent had received no doses of a COVID vaccine. The data also revealed only 1.7 per cent of those who died had received the recommended three doses of a COVID vaccine – pointing to the effectiveness of the booster shot.
