Exmouth in Western Australia is the best spot to view the hybrid solar eclipse today, where the Sun will disappear perfectly behind the moon, giving it the appearance of a black hole. Around 20,000 space lovers will be gathering in the town with a normal population of 2,800 because it is the only place the phenomenon will directly pass over. The rest of Australia will be able to see a partial eclipse. The total eclipse will occur at 11:29am AWST today.
