Hollywood actors’ strike shuts down film and TV productions in Australia

The fallout from Hollywood strike action has reached Australian shores, as members of the Screen Actors Guild walk off set down under. "Apples Never Fall" and "Mortal Kombat 2", both multi-million dollar productions on the Gold Coast, will be interrupted after receiving notice from cast members in the US union. Australian unions will provide support for cast and crew who are affected.
