Iraq wedding inferno kills more than 100 people

More than 100 people have died in a fire which broke out during a wedding in Iraq. The tragic blaze ignited during the bride and groom’s first dance, blocking all three exits. Around 150 more people suffered burns and injuries at the event which included almost 900 guests. Footage has emerged of flames rapidly spreading through the building as the ceiling began to crumble with hundreds of guests causing a stampede in a desperate attempt to escape. A family member has revealed the bride and groom managed to survive and are being treated in hospital but authorities claim the death toll could still rise.
