Carrie Bradshaw’s infamous tutu sells for $78,800

Carrie Bradshaw’s white tutu has been sold for a stunning price. The tutu was featured in the opening credits of Sex and the City. The item was expected to sell for around $18,000 but then went on to go for $78,800. The show’s lead costume designer Patricia Field bought the skirt for only $5 in New York’s garment district when the show began. It is one of five original skirts that Sarah Jessica Parker owns herself.
