Whiplash Café co-owner Jordan Faulkner has described the Collingwood Magpies, which includes several of his co-workers, making the 2023 AFL Grand Final as a “pinch yourself” situation. Despite residing in Hawthorn, Whiplash Café and many of its customers bleed Black and White after the popular business was built with five Collingwood players. Opening in June 2022 and surrounded by high expectations from the Magpie Army, the corner-stop café has delivered as a fan favourite, both for the food and the chance to see a footy hero behind the counter. Former Premiership Bulldog turned Magpie Jordan Roughead and Callum Brown, son of club legend Gavin Brown, are no longer AFL-listed but ties with the club remain strong as they continue to be favourites with their customer fanbase. Meanwhile, Brody Mihocek and Nathan Murphy will line up as teammates on separate ends of the MCG for the Premiership Cup on Saturday. from Life and Lifestyle | Lifestyle and Living | Daily Telegraph https://ift.tt/
